Recently, a wonderful Modhousewife fan asked if I knew of any tapas dishes. Unfortunately, I did not. So, immediately a Pinterest search began; and two tapas recipes were found. I decided on the following cuisine because of color appeal and flavor combinations.

1/2 lb. fresh (shell on) shrimp (20 ct.)
Asiago baguette (Panera Bread or STL Bread Company) bread-sliced
Gia Russa Tomato Bruschetta Topping (Whole Foods)
Center-cut bacon (one package)
Pre-heat oven to 375°. Place bacon on a greased cookie sheet (with sides) and bake for 25 minutes. Place sliced bread on greased cookie sheet and place into the oven 10 minutes before bacon is done. Remove bacon, drain grease and let sit. If bread is not toasted turn on broiler until lightly browned. Remove bread from oven.
Remove shells from shrimp and grill them for about 5 -10 minutes until pink. Set aside.
Spread tomato Bruschetta topping on one side of bread. Then wrap a slice of bacon around the shrimp and place on top of bread; then stick a toothpick through the shrimp.
