Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries

Written on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011 @ 7:59 am

I saw this recipe in Glamour Magazine and I had to share it immediately with all my readers.

I love tiny desserts! I don’t feel as guilty when I return for another taste. This is the perfect dessert recipe for showers, tea parties and New Year’s Eve. Plus, it pairs well with a glass of champagne. This dessert is definitely worth celebrating!

Ingredients:

-1 lb large strawberries
-8 oz. cream cheese, softened (can use 1/3 less fat)
-3-4 tbsp powdered sugar (4 tsp for a sweeter filling)
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-graham cracker crumbs

Directions:
1. Rinse strawberries and cut around the top of the strawberry. Remove the top and clean out with a paring knife, if necessary (some may already be hollow inside). Prep all strawberries and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add cream cheese mix to a piping bag or ziploc with the corner snipped off. Fill strawberries with cheesecake mixture. Once strawberries are filled, dip the top in graham cracker crumbs. If not serving immediately, refrigerate until serving. Enjoy!

  1. I’ve made these before and they are so good! I took the lazier way and just used the premade Cheesecake filling. I also dropped a few chocolate chips inside the strawberry first. Yum!

  3. Katie…that’s how I make them too! So yummy! And if you’re transporting them, I put the topping on when ready to serve…it tends to get soggy.
